How does Lunch2desk work?
Your company sets a lunch allowance and employees place their orders online individually. Le Montmartre prepares everything fresh, and one consolidated delivery arrives at your workplace at lunchtime.

What can employees choose from?
Employees can choose from 30 lunch favourites available year-round, with 5 new weekly specials added every week.

How much does Lunch2desk cost?
There are no setup fees, service fees or platform commissions. Companies simply decide on a lunch allowance for their employees, starting from £8 per person.

What if some employees don’t spend their full allowance?
Your company is only charged for what employees actually order. If an employee spends less than their allowance, you only pay the lower amount.

Is delivery free?
Yes. Delivery is free for companies placing 10 or more daily orders. For smaller teams, a delivery fee of £15 applies.

Can employees spend more than their allowance?
Yes. If an employee chooses a lunch that exceeds their company allowance, they can simply pay the difference using their own card.

How does billing work?
Your company receives one simple weekly invoice covering all employee orders. Employees who spend above their allowance can securely pay the difference themselves.

What time do orders need to be placed?
Orders must be placed before your company’s agreed cut-off time. Lunches are delivered approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes later. For example, if your company requires delivery by 12:30pm, the cut-off time would be 10:00am.

Can employees order in advance?
Absolutely. Orders can be placed up to 24 hours in advance.

Are dietary requirements catered for?
Yes. We offer a wide range of options, including vegetarian, vegan and halal choices. Please contact us regarding any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

Is there a minimum number of employees?
No. Lunch2desk can accommodate businesses of all sizes.

Is there a minimum number of days per week?
No. Whether you need Lunch2desk one day a week or every working day, we can tailor the service to suit your workplace.

Is Lunch2desk suitable for hybrid teams?
Yes. Because companies only pay for lunches that employees actually order, Lunch2desk works particularly well for hybrid workplaces where attendance varies from day to day.

Do we need to commit to a contract?
No. There are no long-term commitments. You can use Lunch2desk as often as it suits your business.

Is VAT applicable?
Yes. As Lunch2desk delivers freshly prepared food to your workplace, VAT is applicable and will be added to the final invoice in accordance with current UK regulations.

Can Lunch2desk be used alongside our existing catering arrangements?
Absolutely. Many clients use Lunch2desk for everyday employee lunches while continuing to rely on Le Montmartre for breakfast meetings, events and office catering.
